COMPATIBILITY ANNOUNCEMENT

LOGISTICS SOFTWARE AND CLEANING ROBOT

In a groundbreaking collaboration, NAiSE and Kärcher have achieved a significant milestone by seamlessly integrating its software and cleaning robots. In collaboration with Kärcher, a global leader for cleaning technology, this innovative compatibility brings together NAiSE’s cutting-edge software and Kärcher’s advanced cleaning robot, KIRA B50, utilizing the VDA5050 Protocol.

Introducing the autonomous scrubber-drier KIRA B 50 by Kärcher, a compact and efficient cleaning robot equipped with proven roller brush technology. With a pre-sweeping function, a side broom, and a 55-centimeter working width, it covers up to 2,300 square meters per hour, powered by a 160 Ah lithium-ion battery. With the optional docking station, the resource exchange (refill fresh water, drain waste water, charge batteries and tank rinsing) can be performed completely autonomous as well. Ideal for various sectors such as transportation, retail, healthcare, public buildings, and industry, it proves to be a valuable addition to any cleaning team, providing maximum efficiency in both large areas and confined spaces.

This integration takes intralogistics to a new level of efficiency and automation, allowing it not only to manage material flow operations but also to execute cleaning missions and routines within a unified managing system. It was implemented at the request of a common customer, but to the mutual satisfaction of both companies. Immediately after integration, the combined use of NAiSE Intralogistics Software and Kärcher’s KIRA B50 will be implemented within the customer’s production facility together with other mobile transport robots from different manufacturers, demonstrating the versatility and compatibility of the integrated system.

KEY FEATURES OF THE INTEGRATION

1. User-Friendly Operation: The KIRA B50’s intuitive user interface facilitates easy mapping of areas, creating defined paths, and setting coverage algorithms for cleaning missions and routines.

2. Mission Control: NAiSE’s software, utilizing MQTT, reads and manages the robot’s missions and routines, providing users with efficient task selection and control.

3. Real-time Monitoring: Ongoing missions are tracked in real-time through the robot status or order manager, ensuring transparency and control over operations.

4. Seamless Integration: For companies employing a mix of robots, NAiSE guarantees a fully efficient and integrated system, harmonizing the operation of existing robots with Kärcher’s autonomous cleaning device.

5. Automated Charging and Water Management: After each mission or when required, the robot autonomously returns to the designated docking station, eliminating the need for manual battery charging and water management, as the Kärcher robot can drain waste water, refill fresh water and perform tank rinsing autonomously.

This collaborative effort of both NAiSE and Kärcher products provides businesses with the tools to optimize intralogistics processes while maintaining a clean work environment. Kärcher’s KIRA B50 is currently in ARENA2036 where you can see live what this combination of products looks like.
