REVOLUTIONIZING HUMAN-CENTERED AUTOMATION 5.0 (HCA 5.0)

BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN HUMANS AND MACHINES IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION

In an era marked by technological advancements, the Connect4HCA project has emerged as a groundbreaking initiative, aiming to redefine the relationship between humans and machines in industrial production. The Connect4HCA initiative brings together a powerhouse of expertise, with NAiSE playing a crucial role alongside esteemed partners: Balluff, Fraunhofer, Deutsche Institute für Textil- und Faserforschung, ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH, Siemens,  University of Stuttgart, and Nokia, ready to form a collaborative force dedicated to shaping the future of industrial production.
Connect4HCA introduces the concept of Human-Centered Automation 5.0 (HCA 5.0), a visionary approach where production processes are designed with a primary focus on people. The project envisions the development of a Decentralized Technical Intelligence (DTI) that harmoniously integrates humans and machines throughout the entire value chain of product, process, and production. This paradigm shift involves situational adaptation of automated

    NAiSE’S ROLE IN CONNECT4HCA:

NAiSE plays a pivotal role in implementing the project’s vision, aiming to enhance human-machine interaction and establish people at the center of a holistic Internet of Things (IoT) platform. The approach involves integrating a hybrid sensor network with tactile sensors, seamlessly incorporating human actions into the machine environment to boost user-friendliness and efficiency. The results of NAiSE’s efforts manifest in the integration of the IoT platform into a demonstrator, showcasing the practical applications and tangible benefits of the hybrid sensor network with tactile sensors.

The demonstrator serves as a powerful tool to illustrate the functionality and effectiveness of NAiSE’s contributions in practical scenarios. This allows potential users and interests parties to witness firsthand the advantages and possibilities of an improved interaction between humans and machines. NAiSE’s commitment to putting people at the center of industrial automation is exemplified through tangible outcomes and real-world applications, further solidifying its role as a trailblazer in the Connect4HCA project.
