WEG Mobile Robot – WMR
As part of this partnership, WEG has recently unveiled its latest innovation, the WMR (WEG Mobile Robot). This autonomous robot is designed to significantly enhance operational efficiency in industries that require internal transportation. The WMR, an AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) system, utilizes advanced techniques such as Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) to achieve autonomous navigation. With its natural navigation and contour differential strategy, the robot effortlessly maneuvers through dynamic obstacles and autonomously re-plans alternative routes when encountering blocking situations.
One of the standout features of the WEG Mobile Robot is its collision prevention safety system. This system ensures the robot’s safe operation in shared areas with operators, making it suitable for the transportation and movement of loads. Additionally, the product comes equipped with essential accessories including batteries, a joystick, and a charging station, providing a comprehensive solution for end-to-end autonomous transportation.
